Dessau for garden lovers - The spring arrangement
Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom on a dream trip and experience first-hand how the lush nature comes to life!
The UNESCO World Heritage Site Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom, embedded in the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve, has seven parks and six castles. The best way to explore the Garden Kingdom is by bike. The parks and gardens are connected by the 68 km long cycling route “Garden Kingdom Tour Fürst Franz”.
Of course, it is also worthwhile to cycle to individual destinations: The inner-city park Georgium, from which it is only a few steps to another world heritage site, the Bauhaus. The famous park in Wörlitz, also accessible by the Wörlitz Railroad. The Baroque palace in Oranienbaum or the lesser-known but all the more enchanting grounds such as the classicist Luisium, the rococo Mosigkau Palace, the Kühnau Landscape Park or the Sieglitzer Berg.
Tip: Experience the spring awakening in the Wörlitzer Park with the fantastically beautiful crocus blossom!
