Get to know the three World Heritage Sites in Dessau-Roßlau from a different perspective on World Heritage Day on 2 June 2024. Accompanied by tour guide Margot Schoch, the approx. 3-hour cycle tour starts at the historic cemetery. This bears the signature of Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff, the creator of many buildings and grounds in the UNESCO World Heritage Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom. At the Tiergartenbrücke bridge, participants will gain a brief insight into the uniqueness of the UNESCO Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve. The tour then leads to and inside Georgium Castle. A short tour of the ground floor reveals the history of the castle, its inhabitants and the picture gallery. The cycle tour ends at the Kornhaus.
