Opening of the Open Stage in the Garden Dreams Lounge
The long wait is over. On Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6.30 pm, the popular Thursday evening concert series organized by the city marketing department will once again open its doors on Dessau’s market square in the middle of the Garden Dreams Lounge.
The event has established itself as an integral part of cultural life in Dessau and offers a stage for both well-known artists and up-and-coming talent until September 19, 2024.
The popular Dessau band Capriccio will provide the music for this year’s opening event and delight guests with their varied repertoire. The audience can look forward to a large portion of Eastern rock and selected highlights from the international music scene in an exuberant and chilled-out atmosphere.
“We are presenting the musical open-air event format for the fifth time this year and, as every year, we are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and new guests,” says Maren Springer-Hoffmann, project manager at the city marketing company, about the upcoming event. The Open Stage offers visitors a variety of musical enjoyment in a relaxed environment. The Garden Dreams Lounge will be transformed into a meeting place for music lovers of all ages. Citizens and guests of the city are cordially invited to visit the Open Stage and be inspired by the music and the unique atmosphere.
