Opening concert for the new season

The 230th season of the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau begins with the traditional grand opening concert on the theater forecourt.
As every year, artists from all genres will present a colorful program designed to arouse curiosity about the productions of the upcoming theater and concert season.

There will be rousing and moving excerpts from operas such as Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème, Alban Berg’s Wozzeck and Peter Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame, from the musical My Fair Lady and from the gala Divine Rhapsody planned for New Year’s Eve.

Corresponding to the color of the Bauhaus Festival, this year’s opening concert of the theater will also include some “blue” program items. And all this at the blue hour of a late summer evening on Friedensplatz in the heart of Dessau!
