Mother's Day Express to Wörlitz
On May 12, 2024, the Dessau-Wörlitz Railway invites you to the Mother’s Day Express to Wörlitz. A very special program awaits you under the motto “To the May blossom to Wörlitz”:
The journey starts at 12:05 pm at Dessau main station, where you board the train. After a journey of just under 35 minutes, you will be welcomed at Wörlitz station by tour guide Ms. Gerds. She will guide you through the idyllic Wörlitz Park and tell you interesting information and stories about the history and special features of the park.
After the guided tour of the park, you can enjoy a leisurely coffee at the “Wörlitzer Hof” and a relaxing gondola ride through Wörlitz Park. The day ends at 17:20 with an individual return journey to Dessau, although a later return journey at 19:20 is also possible as an option.
Tickets for the special trip are limited to a maximum of 50 people and can be purchased at the mobility center at Dessau main station and at the tourist information office in Dessau. The price is €34.00 per adult and €32.00 per child.
