Garden dream lounge invites you again
The long wait is over. On Monday, all the preparations were completed so that the Garden Dreams Lounge can once again transform Dessau’s market square into an oasis of well-being this year. Marion Krause from the city maintenance department, Arvid Brinkmann from Brinkmann Garten- und Landschaftsbau as the service provider and Maren Springer-Hoffmann from the city marketing company are delighted about the start of the 5th season.
With new plants, the lounge will soon blossom and invite visitors to relax, enjoy and linger. And then it can start again, the open-air season of city marketing with numerous events in the city center. From May 30 to June 2, 2024, the reading living room with book towers and lawns will be set up as part of StadtLesens. For the 8th time, visitors will be able to browse through more than 3,000 books, read and indulge their imagination.
The Open Stage, the popular Thursday evening series, will not be missing this year either. Preparations for the 5th anniversary of the small, fine stage in the middle of the lounge are in full swing. From June 6 to September 19, 2024, musicians from Dessau-Roßlau and the region can be experienced live and in a very special atmosphere.
“We are already looking forward to many great artists and our regular audience, who have been loyal to us for 5 years. Of course, we also welcome all new guests,” says Maren Springer-Hoffmann, responsible project coordinator from the Dessau-Roßlau city marketing company.
