Kick-off at the Green Week

For Stadtmarketinggesellschaft Dessau-Roßlau mbH, this year’s tourism trade fair season begins today with the opening of the Green Week in Berlin. At the start of the year, it will be presenting the city at the stand of the World Heritage Region Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V. in Saxony-Anhalt Hall 23 on the first weekend of the ‘Green Week’. Among other things, the new image brochure, which provides an overview of the cultural highlights of the year and interesting information on the Bauhaus anniversary 2025/2026, will be on display.

‘Together with our colleagues from the World Heritage Region Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e. V., we are presenting the tourist attractions of the city and the region. We would like to invite the trade fair visitors, who come not only from Berlin, Potsdam and Brandenburg, to explore our city and draw attention to our Bauhaus anniversary this year and next,’ reports Franziska Staudte, Head of Tourist Information.

The Green Week, the leading trade fair for representatives from the food, agriculture and horticulture sectors, will open its doors from 17 to 26 January 2025. This year, 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries will be showcasing their culinary highlights, innovations and interesting travel destinations.

Stadtmarketinggesellschaft Dessau-Roßlau mbH will also be presenting the city of Dessau-Roßlau for the first time at the beginning of the year from 31 January to 1 February 2025 at the Dresden Travel Fair and, together with the World Heritage Region Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V., at Reisen Hamburg in February from 6 to 9 February 2025.
From 4 to 6 March 2025, the city will attract the attention of tour operators and press representatives at the International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin.
