Motif for the 2025 Advent market mug

The popular painting competition for the design of the Advent market cup is entering a new round! Together with the organiser of the Dessau Advent market, Grill- und Imbiss Merkel GmbH, the city marketing association invites all creative minds aged 18 and over to design the motif for the 2025 Advent market cup.
From now on, interested parties can pick up the colouring templates specially prepared on the Advent flyer at the tourist information offices in Dessau and Roßlau, at the snack stands of Grill- und Imbiss Merkel GmbH in Dessau-Roßlau and at the stands at the Dessau Advent market.
The completed designs must be submitted to the city marketing company or one of the two tourist information offices by Friday, 13 December 2024.

A jury will then view all the designs submitted and select the winning design. The winning design will be announced on 22 December 2024 at 5 pm at the Dessau Advent Market – an exciting moment for all participants and visitors!
The painting competition is not only a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creativity of citizens, but also a part of Dessau’s Advent tradition. The Advent market mug with the winning motif will be available the following year and create a lasting souvenir of the Christmas market.
