The Advent market in front of the town hall in Dessau opens its doors and we ring in the wonderful pre-Christmas season. In the coming weeks, other contemplative little markets, Christmas theater performances and a nice program full of events across the city will follow.

With a responsible approach and certain rules, we can – despite the currently tense situation – celebrate the most contemplative time of the year.

The fairy lights are hanging, the stalls are up – this year it will be even brighter and more spectacular. We are looking forward to great new light installations and a real ice skating rink in the middle of the market square.
